| Matt receives pitches well for a high school catcher. He is going to need to get better at blocking though. Now that he is catching better pitching his decision making as to whether he needs to block a pitch or just pick it is going to be his main focus for the winter and spring. Matt has quick feet which helps with his throwing to bases. With his throwing program he is on I would expect Matt's arm to get even stronger by the time he is ready to head off to college. | |||||

| Matt has improved a lot over the past two years he has been apart of the PBF team. He has a swing that allows him to hit line drives. At times Matt leaves his front side open which tends to hinder his ability to hit the outside pitch. He has been working on this and should see a big improvement with his plate coverage over the winter. Matt hits the inside pitch very well, so with the improvement on plate coverage I see him becoming a quality college level hitter. | |||

| Matt has a good work ethic and is very coachable. He has progressed well in 2 years. He understands the improvements that are necessary to get him to the next level. Matt has played 3rd base on occasion and has shown some skills at that position. Pitching is something new for Matt but he has seen some success in his innings he has thrown for me. There could be some potential for him there. |
